With the help of Pathways-Uganda, the school has received funding for Phase 3, which includes painting, scholastic materials, solar panels, and lighting. This initiative is vital for delivering quality education in this rural area, including preparation for future learning.

Faith, Hope, and the Future of Education at Rhema

Supporting children in need and their education pathways is essential for nurturing hope and providing the right tools. The children are blessed with education in three key areas of life called the 3 C's:

Character

This area focuses on character building, well-being, self-worth, interpersonal skills, and resilience through godly play.

Competence

By providing an education that includes opportunities for extra prep lessons in the key curriculum, children are prepared for the examinations at each stage.

Calling

Calling enables spiritual growth and development by reinforcing values and fostering the right attitude towards oneself and others. It involves nurturing the young and supporting individual children's faith journeys.

November 2025: Current and Future Projects!

Pathways-Uganda has organized training programs to ensure sustainability, with a project team heading to the school next week. The training will include hygiene awareness, empowerment, spiritual growth, making reusable menstruation products, sewing, and other arts and crafts. The friends of Rhema School and community will have the opportunity to learn these new skills.

Adequate space for the Dormitory Upgrade, Bunk Beds, and Showering Facilities

We invite our valued supporters to join us in a vital initiative that aims to enhance the living conditions for the children in need. The need to purchase the land and upgrade the dormitories for 40 girls and 40 boys is paramount. By investing in this project, we can provide safe and comfortable spaces equipped with bunk beds, essential furnishings, and modern showering facilities. Your support is crucial in transforming these dormitories into nurturing environments where our young residents can thrive. Together, we can ensure that every child has a dignified and supportive place to call home, and we greatly appreciate your commitment to seeing this important work come to fruition.

Introduction to Mulungi the Pig

Mulungi the pig is a special addition to the school, donated in September in honor of a supporter’s birthday. This gift is not just a gesture of goodwill; it plays a significant role in the school's plans for future sustainability.

Purpose of the Donation

Tgi serves several important purposes:

  • Livelihood Project: Mulungi is integral to a broader initiative aimed at making the school self-sufficient.

  • Educational Opportunities: The presence of Mulungi provides hands-on learning experiences for students.

  • Commemoration: Celebrating a supporter’s birthday with a meaningful gift.

Impact on the School

The introduction of Mulungi is expected to have a positive impact on the school in various ways:

  • Self-Sufficiency: By integrating livestock into the school's programs, the school can generate income and reduce dependency on external funding.

  • Engagement: Students will be involved in the care and management of Mulungi, fostering responsibility and teamwork.

  • Community Connection: The project will strengthen ties with the local community through shared agricultural practices.

Mulungi the pig is more than just a donation; it symbolizes hope and a pathway towards self-sufficiency for the school. Through this initiative, the school aims to create a sustainable future while providing valuable lessons for its students.
